One Pot Pasta with Cream Cheese


I cooked this for a bunch of starving uni students the other day. It went down like a treat!

Preparation: 15min, Cooking 15min

You will need: a large pot


  • Pasta: of choice 250g
  • Onion: 1 chopped finely (I also used some left over cooked red onion and carrot)
  • Caulifower: 50g
  • Peas: frozen 50g
  • Ham: shaved: 100g
  • Cream cheese: 150g
  • Chives: 1 tbsp, cut finely
  • Olive oil: 1 tbsp
  • Oregano: dry 1 tsp
  • Cold water: 600ml

Let’s do it:

  1. Cook the onion, with oregano in olive oil for about 15min, until soft.
  2. Add all the ingredients and the cold water,
  3. Cook until pasta is cooked through: about 15mins
  4. Season to taste.
  5. Serve at once.
